AS*U*GO

AS-U-GO connects ASU students, faculty and local community members with area schools for cultural presentations as a free public service. AS-U-GO presenters use their knowledge, experiences and talents to engage pupils in interactive learning experiences designed with the classroom teacher to be grade-appropriate and to complement textbook and classroom instruction.
The As-U-GO program helps to dispel stereotypes by promoting cultural awareness and understanding of different people and cultures though the personal interactions, dialogue, and activities shared between our presenterswith NC students and teachers.
AS-U-GO (ASU’s K-12 Global Outreach Program) serves the ASU Partnership Schools in the following Counties: Watauga, Alexander, Allegheny, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, and Wilkes County.
Check out our current list of presenters and their cultures of expertise. To make a request complete an online request form and we'll get back with you to schedule a visit to your classroom. And for more information, please contact us.
