Appalachian State University is constantly searching for new ways to bring faculty from overseas as well as create opportunities for Appalachian State University faculty to teach abroad. The opportunities to teach abroad include leading through the Appalachian Overseas Education Programs or by either Leading Study Abroad or participating in Scholarly Travel opportunities.
Appalachian is now the home of nearly 50 international faculty from across the globe. Procedures for incoming faculty and for opportunities for faculty to participate in programs abroad are below:
